COOKIES POLICY

Cookie Policy ai sensi del Reg. UE 2016/679 – GDPR

What are cookies and what they do

Cookies are small text files that the sites visited by the user send directly to his terminal (usually the browser), where they are stored before being re-transmitted to the same site on the next visit of the
same user. While browsing a site, a user can even get cookies from other sites or web servers on his terminal (so-called third-party cookies); this is because the website visited can have elements as, for example, pictures, maps, sounds, specific links to web pages of other domains that reside on servers other than the one on which you find the page you requested. In other words, these are cookies that are set by a website other than the one you are currently visiting.

Cookies may be limited to the duration of a single browsing session (session cookies), and then turns off automatically when the user closes the browser; or they may have a predetermined duration and, in this case, will remain active and stored on your hard drive until that date, gathering information during different browsing sessions (persistent cookies).

Purposes of the processing and purposes of session technical cookies

Cookies are used for different functions. Some are needed to allow you to browse the site and use its functionality (i.e. technical cookies). Others are used to obtain statistical information, in aggregate manner or not, about the number of users accessing the site and how the site is used (tracking or analytics cookies). Finally, others are used to draw a profile of the consumer and display advertisements that could be interesting for him, as consistent with his taste and his consumption habits (profiling cookies).

Technical Cookies

Technical cookies are used on the site for the sole purpose of enabling the navigation of the site and allow the use if its functionality. They are always first-party cookies, as they are driven directly by us on the Site.

Some technical cookies are needed to provide optimal browsing experience or to allow logging on the website, i.e. to make a purchase on the site or access private areas (navigation cookie).
Navigation cookies are generally session cookies and, therefore, they are automatically purged once the browser window is closed.

Other technical cookies are useful to allow you to store some of your preferences (for example, the language or country of origin) without having to set that informations again on the next visits (functionality cookie). For this reason, functionality cookies are often persistent cookies, because they remain stored in your computer, even if the browser is closed, until the expiration date provided is reached or until you decide to delete them.
